Selborne Hosts a Distinguished Visitor

First Group was over joyed to host the ever so handsome Mr South Africa and his proud parents at Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel and Spa recently for a weekend of blissful relaxation – well deserved after the jam-packed year Armand has had throughout his exciting reign.

With a myriad of events to attend and Armand’s extensive charity work throughout his reign as Mr South Africa, he made the most of his visit to Selborne to relax and truly soak up the tranquil atmosphere of the estate. Armand’s first visit to the KwaZulu-Natal south coast was made all the more welcoming by his stay at Selborne, being ‘the perfect introduction to a part of South Africa, so rich in culture and history.

As a very busy young man completing his final year of studies as a Law student upon entering the Mr South Africa competition in 2014, then moving onto winning the title in 2015 and beginning work as a Candidate Attorney in 2016, Armand somehow manages to strike a life balance between his duties as Mr South Africa, work, maintaining a stringent workout regime and finding time for family and friends – no easy feat!

Highlights throughout Armand’s stay included the history behind the estate, the spacious rooms, excellent meals at the onsite restaurants as well as a picnic on the beach, and most of all, the peace and quiet of the estate. We are proud to report our property has left a lasting impression:

‘I have had the opportunity to stay in a number of hotels while traveling, but Selborne is really in a league of its own and is right at the top of my list of favourite destinations in South Africa! I have never experienced hospitality like that of Selborne before.’

Armand expressed his gratitude for being hosted by Selborne Golf Estate, Hotel and Spa for the weekend by saying:

‘Our visit was way too short and I will have to come visit again real soon, this time around for much longer. It has been an honour to have shared your piece of paradise with all my followers, whom were amazed by the beauty and luxury of the Selborne’

Come back soon, Armand!
