On the 7th of November the Magalies Park entertainment team and Resort Mascot, Fred First welcomed Francois Myburgh. Francios 2nd walk began on the 4th of November from Witpoortjie to Sandton and then to Skeerpoort to make people aware of the plight of the Rhino’s. The Magalies Park entertainment team made his finish extra special by waiting for him, offering him a meal voucher and accommodation.

24 year old Francious Myburgh is a passionate individual who is on a mission to save the Rhinos and raise the awareness of the continuous Rhino poaching. According to Francious in the next five to ten years Rhinos will be extinct.  He completed his first walk over 3 days and managed to raise R4000 in sponsorship towards rhino preservation. You may have seen him on various SABC radio stations and news spreading the word about his journey. His target for the end of the year is to raise R100 000. This will be donated to the Kruger National Park and used to improve the safety of the Rhinos.

“We would like to congratulate Francious. This is an awesome initiative which he has started.  I would like to link Francious with the Rhino Army Project and together we can save these precious animals,” says Resort Manager, Muis Lombard.
