Through education and awareness it is hoped that more woman will have a better understanding of the virus and also be encouraged to go for regular examinations.

Resort Manager, John Turner had this to say, “Our resort is fairly isolated and we wanted to be able to do something that could draw attention and in a small way contribute towards Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That is why we decided to allow for the staff to dress in Pink on a Friday. By promoting it this way we appeal directly to our guests and staff and also indirectly through our Facebook page.”
