Positioned on the picturesque slopes of the Helderberg mountain range is the beautiful Cape Gordonia. With stunning views of the mountains, luxurious accommodation and easy access to the Blue flag beach Cape Gordonia is the perfect seaside retreat in Gordon’s Bay. While staying at our resort, guests can enjoy scenic walks under the Milkwood trees or go wine tasting along the Helderberg Route which includes farms such as Vergelegen and Avontuur. A sunny day in spring would make a lovely afternoon for wine tasting.

Across the road from the resort is the well-known Harbour Lights restaurant which is famous for its scrumptious seafood dishes.  Some of the most popular dishes include crabstick salad and freshly caught Kingklip. Be adventurous with your palette and try out different seafood dishes. Guests can end off their afternoon by taking a drive from Gordon’s Bay to nearby Betty’s Bay, along scenic mountain passes, for some fantastic views of whales breaching in the waves below.
