For those who would like to relax and soak up the sun in a tranquil peaceful environment, Gethlane Lodge is the perfect getaway for a winter bushveld retreat. We are blessed with warm weather during winter that allows for our guests to soak away their stresses in our Jacuzzi or lounge around the pool. There is a fine restaurant onsite and a wellness spa that will provide you with an array of world class treatments. Gethlane also has comfy and spacious chalets available for our guests to rest and enjoy the facilities.

For our energetic and sporty guests we have a trampoline, adventure golf, tennis court, Burgersfort Walk which is an awesome nature trail approximately 1.79km’s long. For the kiddies there is a games room, slides and bikes for hire. For our nature lovers on the resort we have wonderful wildlife to view Giraffes, Zebras, Kudu, Nyala and Bushbuck. Our resort manager, John Turner likes to capture these magnificent creatures in the form of a photograph and share it with our fans on the Gethlane Lodge Facebook page.

At the resort we also have a special dinning deck for romantic evenings that couples can watch the sunset from. Plus it’s a great spot to pop the question! The resort is ideally situated to do a circular tour of the scenic Mpumalanga route which includes Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Gods Window.

“While the rest of the country freezes during winter we are blessed with warm weather and glorious sunshine says”, John, Gethlane resort manager.
