On Sunday, 27th of April Costa Smeralda and Wolf Security hosted a Self Defence Day at the resort. Mark Thomas from the Security Company demonstrated some basic and effective self-defence techniques to the guests. This turned into an absolutely lovely event and was very informative for our guests. The funds that were raised at the event were donated to an organization situated in Port Shepstone. This organization is called U’Mephi Baby Home.
U’Mephi Baby Home is a home that takes care of abandoned children and provides them with nutrition, clothing and medical care. The children are well taken care of by the full time mother and assistance provided. However, this organization relies on the surrounding community and donations to cover the monthly expenses such as nappies. Therefore please feel free to contact the home and make a donation this is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference. Costa Smeralda not so long ago donated some clothes, toys, food and took the resort mascot, Fred First for a visit.
“Heather is such an inspiration to me and my team. I cannot describe the amount of love and care that is given to the children in that home and in supporting this home I know that the children will be getting all the love and attention that they deserve. We will continue to build our relationship with the organization and assist where we can,” says Grace Crow, Costa Smeralda Resort Manager.
